Avalon Namoi

Namoi is our first Avalon produced Coolie chosen for our breeding program. Born out of our Rivers of NSW Australia litter she was named after the Namoi Rver and I hear from Borahview and Coolibah in Australia that she is as beautiful as the River she was named after. She is what we strive to produce: Compact in size, fast and light on her feet, agile and sure footed, built for endurance and speed as well as height, incredible jumping abilities, brains to challenge the most knowledgable handlers and the heart of a lion. Her sweet disposition and social comfort make her our target in our breeding program.

She has started her training on sheep in Saskatchewan, Canada with three top trainers in Western canada. She started strong and hard but very quickly slowed down by our second clinic in Williams Lake BC, Canada with the help of Lynn Leach. She has shown a steep learning curve with great pleasure in the sport and team work with me. I look forward to training her more specifically for trial work, and would one day enjoy specializing in "large flock" working trials with her.

She will be bred when she is OF MATURE AGE, as she has already proven her ability for work, health, training, and social skills. Maturity, Health, Working Ability, Inteligeance, Stability & Reliability are what Avalon Coolies ARE.

Her "chosen one" was very carefully chosen with the help of my Australian breeder friends and Family over several months to years to ensure a great match and complimentary addition to our program.
